How does the online consultation work and how accurate is it?

In our quick online consultation, you’ll be asked a series of questions about your skin, previous skin treatments you’ve used, and some basic, relevant questions about your medical history.

Skin conditions like acne and skin-ageing can be diagnosed at a distance, by sharing photos and medical information. This process has been used by doctors around the world for years, and is known as teledermatology, which makes expert medical advice easily accessible in just a few simple steps.

Our consultation was designed to give our expert Dermatology Team all the information they need to make an accurate dermatological assessment of your skin’s needs. The consultation contains a series of questions about your skin, previous skin treatments you’ve used, and some basic, relevant questions about your medical history.

All consultation questions should be answered thoroughly and truthfully – and always for yourself, not on behalf of anyone else. This is essential for us to diagnose you safely and accurately.

The information you provide will be reviewed by our expert Dermatology Team and if you’re eligible for treatment, they’ll create a personalised prescription containing the most appropriate ingredients for your skin’s needs. Your prescription will then be sent to the Feel Good Pharmacy, who will dispense your treatment and ship it to you.

In some cases, our Dermatology Team may let you know that we’re unable to treat you, and will instead recommend that you visit your doctor or Dermatologist to discuss your skin concerns further. In this case, we will refund your payment and won’t take any other charges.

If you are eligible for treatment, after 6 months, our Dermatology Team will set up a progress checkup with you to see how you and your skin are getting on with your Skin + Me treatment.

If you have any problems during your treatment, you can get in touch with our Dermatology Support Team at hello@skinandme.com.
