Do I need to be on contraception with my Personalised Solution?

There are particular ingredients that are never used in our personalised solutions if you’re pregnant, breastfeeding or trying to conceive. This is because the tablet versions of the active ingredients have been known to cause harm in certain cases. 

If you’ve been prescribed Tretinoin (a topical retinoid), you must use an effective form of contraception to prevent pregnancy whilst on treatment. If you’re not able to do this, simply send an email over to our friendly Dermatology Support Team who can arrange for you to complete a reconsultation to have your Personalised Solution changed at hello@skinandme.com. 

It’s always best to let your GP know when you’ve started a new medication.
