Community Wisdom: Customer Shelfies

Here at Skin + Me, we’re all about skinimalism. We like to keep our routines short, sweet and effective, which is why we designed and formulated our Daily Dosers to replace several steps in your routines.

However, we know that while some of our customers adopt our minimalist approach, others have many cult products they swear by. For the purposes of insight and inspiration, we asked real Skin + Me customers to open up their bathroom cabinets and let us see what’s behind the mirrored doors… 

Gischa

Gischa is a big fan of keeping things simple. She starts the day with the CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser (a product a lot of the Skin + Me community loves), and if her face is very dry she uses the CeraVe Moisturising Cream, with the La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF30 as the final step in her morning routine. 

At night, she goes back to her favourite CeraVe Cleanser – used twice if she’s been wearing makeup. Finally, she follows up with her Skin + Me Daily Doser after about 20 minutes.

Kerrie

Kerrie is a big fan of all things Vitamin D; her night time routine includes two vitamin D products! She staggers her products throughout her evening, with her first few applied when she gets home from work and the final few steps just before bed.

Her focus is on barrier repair as she struggles with perioral dermatitis. She cleanses with the Curel Foaming Facial Wash, followed by the Zelens Power D and Zelens Provitamin D3, then the Curel Moisture Facial Lotion Enrich and Sunday Riley Ice Ceramide Moisturising Cream and her Skin + Me Daily Doser.

Hollie

Hollie says that her skin is best with as few products as possible. In the evening she uses the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, her Daily Doser and Weleda Skin Food Light.

Dawn 

Dawn has also struggled with perioral dermatitis, and as such does her best to help her skin tolerate her Skin + Me prescription by “sandwiching” it between two layers of moisturiser. Her evening routine starts with a double cleanse, using the Jordan Samuel Skin – The After Show Treatment Cleanser and La Roche Posay Toleraine Dermo-Cleanser.

She follows that with NIOD Fractionated Eye Contour Concentrate and NIOD Modulating Glucosides, before applying her first moisturiser layer, the La Roche Posay Toleraine Ultra. Then it’s time for her Skin + Me Daily Doser, followed by La Roche Posay Toleriane Sensitive Riche 30 minutes later.
