Today we’re putting a face to the signature on your Daily Doser… meet Nafeesa.

What made you want to join Skin + Me?

The concept was genius and I really wanted to be a part of what was being created. Making dermatology affordable and treatments which were supported by scientific evidence is fantastic, but the fact that it’s accessible is the most precious thing. We can help so many people who may have thought they could never get to or afford dermatology services. 

How did you become interested in pharmacy?

I remember growing up and being extremely fascinated by the medications that my Grandmother was taking. I really wanted to know how they worked, what they were for and how they made my Grandmother ‘better’ if you will.

What does your current daily skincare routine look like?

AM 

Cleanser: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 

Moisturise: Moogoo Full Cream 

SPF: Either Green People SPF 30 or Garnier Sensitive Advanced SPF 50 face fluid.

PM

Cleanser: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser 

Treat: My Daily Doser, of course!

Moisturise: Moogoo Full Cream or Moogoo Soothing MSM Moisturiser (I have Rosacea-prone skin so will interchange depending on how my skin feels)

Do you have any holy grail products that you swear by?

My Moogoo moisturisers! They go everywhere with me. As someone that has dry and sensitive skin because of rosacea, it took me a long while to find something which suited my skin. Can’t be without them. 

What do you get up to in your spare time?

I love plants and I’ve got green fingers! I grew up in Wales and always had things growing in the garden. So I’ve got a whole ‘green operation’ on the go, on the terrace of my flat. Not quite a large enough area to be fully self-sufficient but it’s a start! I’m thinking of dabbling in woodwork next. I find it therapeutic to do something creative and get my mind away from science and medicine for a while.
