href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/\">Skin + Me<\/a> Subscribers, happy couple <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/blog-skinandme-com-wedding-skincare-with-ellen-and-tom\/\">Ellen and Tom<\/a> in the build-up to their big day this summer. Now, nearly three months into her personalised skincare journey, we check in with Ellen on her routine challenges, topical treatments, hopes and dreams when it comes to her wedding day skin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A reminder of Ellen\u2019s routine so far, \u201cI <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/full-routine\">cleanse<\/a>, use my <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/daily-doser-spotlight-2\/\">Daily Doser<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/full-routine\">moisturise<\/a> every night. It contains <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/can-i-use-tretinoin-on-sensitive-skin\/\">tretinoin<\/a>, niacinamide and azelaic acid. I\u2019m being more vigilant than ever with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/skincare-and-the-sun-guide-freckles-sun-spots-spf-and-makeup-know-how\/\">SPF<\/a> every day because I know tretinoin can make skin more sensitive to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/skincare-and-the-sun-guide-freckles-sun-spots-spf-and-makeup-know-how\/\">sun<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So far so good. Since last month, Ellen\u2019s switched her wrap around routine to incorporate Skin + Me\u2019s latest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/full-routine\">Purify + Prep Hydrating Cleanser<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/full-routine\">Soothe + Smooth Rich Moisturiser<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her thoughts? \u201cMy skin\u2019s adjusted to the increasing concentration of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/can-i-use-tretinoin-on-sensitive-skin\/\">tretinoin<\/a> (now at 0.012%) in my Daily Doser well, but at this stage and just weeks away from my big day, I\u2019m continuing to buffer my treatment with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/full-routine-launch-skin-and-me-cleanser-and-moisturiser\/\">Moisturiser<\/a> post-cleanse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Skin + Me Rich Moisturiser does the job. It\u2019s replenishing but quickly absorbed so I can get through my evening routine fast, even when I\u2019m working late or falling into bed after the gym.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to constantly using her Daily Doser \u2013 and an enhanced three-step routine \u2013 Ellen\u2019s booked two pre-wedding facials at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.skinandme.com\/the-dose\/tweakments-trends-and-future-skincare-helen-wyre-of-no-23-skin-clinic\/\">No.23 Skin Clinic<\/a> (follow them at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/no23skin\/\">@no23skin<\/a>). Ellen explains,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHelen, the Founder and skincare guru at No23 Skin advised that the best time to plan additional facials to prepare for my big event would be the beginning of April \u2013 eight weeks before the wedding and the end of May \u2013 just two days before the wedding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe goal of my first facial was to even out my skin tone and tackle blemishes. The second is to gently prepare my skin for wedding day makeup. It may involve light exfoliation and will most definitely focus on hydration.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cI\u2019ve always been clear that I\u2019m planning to wear minimal, natural-looking makeup on my big day and let my skin do the talking. I had a relaxing neck massage, skin peel and gentle exfoliation. There was lots of follow-up advice and I felt relaxed and confident in my skin when I left. Now my skin\u2019s settled, it feels smoother and revived.
